Common Misconceptions about High Blood Pressure
Common
symptoms of high blood pressure include
nervousness, irritation, sweating and
difficulty sleeping?
More often than not there are no openly
obvious symptoms at all. The actual symptoms
of High Blood Pressure are very subtle. Most
people with High Blood Pressure (certainly
in the early stages) feel every bit as well
as those whose pressure is normal. Folks,
this condition isn’t known as “the Silent
Killer” for no reason at all. That having
been said, there are certain subtle signs
that shouldn’t be ignored and amongst the
most common of these are the following: |
|
|
1. Increased
occurrence of unexplained Nosebleeds.
2. Repeated occurrence of unexplained spells
of Dizziness.
3. A repeated feeling of Ringing in the
ears.
4. Unprovoked incidences of fainting.
5. Increased incidences of unexplained
Headaches in the morning.
6. Blurred vision.
7. Bouts of unexplainable Depression.
8. Increased frequency of the need to
urinate during the night.
Anyone of these symptoms above could

pressure is high, but that’s just because
I’m nervous. I’m sure my blood pressure is
OK at home.
Aha. The old “White Coat Hypertension”

feeling nervous when you have been summoned
to see the Bank Manager about the overdraft.
Instruments nowadays are actually much more
sophisticated than they once were and this
sort of temporarily raised blood pressure is
taken into account. There are loads of
things that can temporarily raise the Blood
Pressure and in isolation and under
controlled circumstances this is actually a
good thing. Another way round this is if it
occurs on regular basis is to get one of the
Home blood Pressure kits that are now quite
easily available and to test your blood
pressure yourself. One thing to remember is
that don’t try and fool yourself and
repeated high readings should never be
ignored. Also this Home Kits should never
take the place of regular checks ups

automatically have high blood pressure.
Not always the case, the tie up here is that
quote often a lot of the lifestyle habits
that give rise to incidences of increased

fats, too much alcohol and no exercise is
going to cause high blood pressure as well
as increase your Cholesterol levels.

Blood Pressure; it’s been in my family for
generations.

I figure it’s OK to cut it back or even stop
now.
Another one out of the stories of Hans
Christian Anderson Fairy tales I’m afraid.
Unless told to do so by your Doctor or
